Ice truckers on TV

The History Channel had a series on Ice Trucking in May of this year. Here are some of the highlights.
Truckers have battled nearly a month of 24 hour operations in temperatures of 40 degrees below zero. They've hauled more than 100,000 tons of supplies to isolated mining camps. But accidents and strict safety regulations have sent many drivers packing. The ice road is testing the limits of man and machine and one trucker is about to fall through the ice. Brutal temperatures of -40 degrees take their toll on the truckers. Often drivers encounter thick patches of ice fog. It's threatening enough that they turn to prayer to make it through. However, ice fog may be only the beginning...severe arctic storms cause white out conditions and force road closures.
